Update 2.8

Viola started training at home to become a lab tech at the precinct.  If given the opportunity she would love to do some DNA profiling like her father rather than putting herself in danger every day, though she wouldn't back down from that if that is where the department wants her.

Argus.  He loves being a werewolf.  Even if it spooks Viola sometimes causing her to get a little snappy.  He growls at her and all is well.

Viola and Argus decided to put a hot tub in on their three season porch, thus turning it into a four season porch.  It was Viola's favorite place to be after a hard days work or teaching one of the twins to drive.

Viola had Kesler out on the streets.  He wasn't as adept at driving as Kailey but Viola pushed him to keep trying nonetheless.

Kesler's bees finally gave him some honey.  Kesler jarred most of it to sell at the store and kept a little for himself.

Kailey started collecting little animals around Moonlight Falls.

She found a falcon and decided to train him.  Kailey realized that her life-time wish was to become a zoologist and she began by collecting twenty different small pets to take care of.

Looks like some one has caught Kesler's eye at school.  He takes some time to check himself out in the mirror before leaving for school in the morning.

Time had gone by and Ripley was becoming a toddler.

By the look of things it does not appear that Ripley is Argus' biological son, though Argus is none the wiser.

Kailey became romantically involved with a teen werewolf Gator Wolff from Argus' pack.

After finishing homework (a rule the teens have to follow to be allowed to have friends over on school nights) Kailey get flirty with Gator.  She pulls him into their first kiss.

After all the kids are settled into bed Viola and Argus spare a moment for quality alone time before getting some sleep.

In the early hours of the morning Danial wanders the house keeping watch over the family.

Argus is startled awake in the predawn hours and finds Gator throwing pebbles at Kailey's window.  Whereas humans would just call the boy's parents to come get him, Argus exhibits his strength as alpha male and puts Gator in his place.

When not working Viola spends time with her children.  She begins teaching Ripley how to walk.

Though she has a constant supply of fresh blood, Viola tries to stick with plasma juice for nutrients because she wants to set a docile example for her young vampires.  Young vampires can sustain themselves on food but as the teens get older Viola has to monitor their feeding habits.

Kailey and Ripley, full-blooded siblings.

Viola finds herself experiencing morning sickness again.  This time she is quite relieved to know that this baby would, for sure, be Argus' baby.

Kesler took up playing the guitar.  He writes and rewrites songs for his mystery girl at school.

  1. Nice update. Who was the baby daddy for Ripley? I must have missed something.

    1. Danial is Ripley's father. Viola had a "dream" that she was intimate with Danial's ghost, as well as being with Argus. It was a mystery until the baby was born and then I just dragged it out until he was a toddler and it was obvious by his looks.

  2. Sadness. I was hoping Argus was the father. :( At least he still loves little Ripley and it appears he will finally get a child that is his.

Haha loved seeing Argus scare the teen boy. He won't be coming around throwing pebbles again.

    Fun update.

    1. Eh.. Argus doesn't know any better at this point and perhaps he never will. He is dad to those kids nonetheless.

  3. Nice chapter, Zephyr. Hope that things are going well with you and I miss our little chats on FB. Sorry I haven't read Viola's story for awhile but I took a break from reading stories for awhile but am gradually getting back to it. Visited the thread again and things seem to have settled down there. I like playing werewolves when one becomes a part of one of my families through marriage. Nice to see Gator Wolff in the picture.

In case you're wondering Wordpress and Photobucket haven't been getting along for me so I started a thread in the forums for now where I'm posting my updates. You can find it here:

There's an update there on the Salvatores.

Well enough of my story and I'll try to get caught up with Viola soon so I can get into generation 3.
