Viola was under arrest yet, again. This time circumstances seemed a little fishy, as no one but she and Vlad would have known about it. After her jail time William had her escorted home by a rookie.
While doing time Viola found herself gaining weight despite the lack of filling meals. She requested a pregnancy test from the health ward and was not surprised to see a pink plus sign. Once she was back home she did her best to lay low and care for herself as best as possible, but it wasn't long before Vlad was intruding in her thoughts and knew her secret.
She had expected him to come for her. Vlad could feel the terror in every breath took, he loomed in the dark corners of her dreams long enough to allow her to know he knew. While he left her to wallow in her unconscious fear, Vlad approached his mark.
All vampires could read the minds of humans but only the older and more skilled could read the minds of other vampires. With the exception of Elvira, Vlad was the only one in Bridgeport with the capability to know his enemy. Since Danial was a Talon by birth he would offer one opportunity to stay alive. Vlad held Danial by his neck, squeezing the life out of him while explaining he was going to have Viola as his mate.
In the early hours of the morning Viola heard the apartment door open and climbed out of bed to greet Danial, but before she could get her slippers on Vlad came sauntering into the room.
He shoved Viola against the wall. Unlike Danial, she had some fire in her and wasn't going to allow Vlad to claim her.
Danial walked into the room in time to see Vlad's hand connect with Viola's cheek. Despite his cowardice, Danial was overcome with a fit rage and rushed at Vlad.
It wasn't long before Vlad overpowered Danial and had the upper hand. Viola stood in shock and then tried to intervene.
Vlad shoved Viola out of the way and dragged Danial to the elevator. He pushed him out of the building and into the direct sunlight.
The rays burned his flesh with white hot intensity as Danial crumbled into charred dust.
To Viola's dismay Vlad strolled into the apartment with a smug look of victory on his face.
She begged to know where Danial was and almost fled the apartment herself until Vlad told her that Danial was dead.
Once Viola gave into the truth of Danial's death she became a shell; pushing her emotions so deep within that she reacted to nothing. She didn't notice when Vlad took over her life, she didn't notice when she was no longer able to leave the apartment.
She didn't notice when Vlad dragged her into the bed room and shoved her onto the bed.
It was only when the baby was big enough for Viola to feel a kick that she began to snap back to reality. At first the movement barely registered. As the days went by she became stronger. Every movement, hiccup, and kick slowly stoked Viola back to life until one night she made a run for it after locking Vlad in the room.
She ran straight to her father. Viola knew that he could protect her and the baby.
Free from Vlad's terror Viola began to truly mourn the loss of her true love. She went through the day feeling like half of her soul had been ripped from her body.
Even though Viola was free from the daily terror Vlad inflicted, she became a prisoner in her parent's home. Vlad would be waiting to take her the moment she stepped outside. Vlad's status within the vampire world made him nearly invincible. Regardless, Jessica was out for blood and was hunting Vlad nightly but he was older, faster, and stronger. Claude eventually joined the hunt, setting aside his disdain for all vampires, to complete the task of eviscerating Vlad for his sister.
Eventually, Viola's heartache faded over time. Though her sweet baby wasn't born it was already healing the broken.
After several hunts had failed William and Vivienne decided it would be best to move Viola to a safe house where she could start her life over and raise her baby without the fear of Vlad. When she went into labor they checked her into the hospital. During that time they clouded Vlad's ability to track her and left town.
William and Vivienne had taken some time to get Viola settled into her new home in Moonlight Falls. They registered the home ownership for their daughter at city hall under Viola Talon and gave her documents with her new name on them. William and Vivienne headed back to Bridgeport. Vivienne settled her daughter Kailey and son Kesler into their nursery; her heart still broken because she never even had the chance to tell Danial she was pregnant in the first place.
Wow. I'm glad she got away from him but I fear it may only be temporary. If he really wants her, I think Vlad will find her.
ReplyDeleteTwins how fun!!! I can't wait to see them grow up. So sad they will never know their father.
Yeah, my dark side had a lot of fun writing Vlad's piece I must say. Unfortunately as this goes, I have less control than I usually maintain with the Goth Chronicles. Though I think Vlad may not be quite done yet, but he could have more than he bargained for.
DeleteGot to love the havoc an evil vampire can give a story. Can't wait to see how they resolve this since I imagine he'd be hard to stop or kill. I always enjoy seeing Vlad in a story.
ReplyDeleteI agree completely. I'm starting to develop my vampire lore within this save and in my Sim World older vampires are stronger and much harder to kill. Vlad definitely has that on his side. The question will be if Viola has something up her sleeve if Vlad figures out where she is.
DeleteHi Jenn, I take it that Viola's little ones were fathered by Danial and am so sorry that he was killed before they were born. I hope that she is safe for while from the wrath of Vlad.
ReplyDeleteViola never expected to have to be a single mom as she assumed that Danial would be around. She will always hold on to him though because in his last moment he attempted to face a vampire they both knew he couldn't defeat. It showed her how much Danial actually loved her. That feeling will never leave.
