Update 3.7

Hunter and Kimberlee share a kiss under the falling snow after their wedding.

Hunter's wolfing was still rather unpredictable and seems to be correlated to various moods.  Feeling pretty ecstatically in love and being married, Hunter wolfed-out shortly after the ceremony.

Hunter and Kimberlee had a staycation honeymoon.  With Avery in the care of his grandparents the newlyweds enjoyed their hot tub.

Thoroughly exhausted from wedding night activities, Hunter and Kimberly snuggled in for good night sleep (the first in a long time considering they have an infant).

Before they knew it Avery was celebrating his toddler birthday.

Hunter invited over Ripley and his family.  While Itzel was off playing peek-a-boo with Avery, the adults conversed around the kitchen table.

As winter settled upon Moonlight Falls, the townsfolk began festivities for Snowflake Day.  Hunter held the family gift giving party at his house.

Unfortunately, tragedy struck this Snowflake day.  Kimberlee was on call and in the middle a unwrapping presents her pager went off for large structure fire.  Trying to rescue one of the persons caught in the fire, they both fell victim to the flames.  Ayden Van Gould, the oldest vampire in Moonlight Falls, also perished in the fire.  The fire inspector ruled the fire arson.

Hunter was heartbroken over the loss of his beautiful wife.

He snuggled Avery as much as he could.  He pitied that Avery would not grow up with his mother and felt Avery was his last connection to his wife.

Hunter did not cope with his grief well.  At one point he became so consumed with despair that he almost froze to death outside in the snow.  His saving grace, was that it was close to spring-time and once the sun came up the temperature warmed.  He was also pretty lucky that he thawed with enough time to flee from the rays of the sun. (I seriously thought he was going to freeze to death only to turn around and burn to a crisp.)

Life continued in the Brown household and the two quietly celebrated Avery's birthday.

Hunter bought an easel for Avery.  Avery seemed happiest with a paintbrush in his hand.

Of course, Hunter also had to remind Avery to do homework or it wouldn't get done.  He found it was easiest to sit with him until it was done.

During a little down time Hunter surprised Avery with a trip to Al-Simhara.

They visited many places.  Hunter figured that with Avery's artistic talent that he would also enjoy taking photos with a camera of his own.  Hunter gave Avery his very own camera.

 They camped in the desert.

And visited the pyramids at night, which was quite the sight to see.

Avery met a local girl his age and quickly made friends.  Soon he was off on his own and not interested in following Hunter around.

By the end of the vacation, Avery was tired of the outdoors and stayed at the camp as much as he could.  Hunter decided to go tomb exploring for the last adventure during this vacation.
