Update 3.3

The trees fell their leaves more and more at each passing day.  Viola and Argus delegated the raking to the boys so their housekeeper could focus on the house.  Of course, Hunter was left on his own to rake as Ripley snuck off with his girlfriend of the week.

It had been some time since his first transformation and Hunter was not able to change back into a human.  His nature ran truly on its own accord.  The extended time as a wolf led Hunter to feel anxious and irritated and itchy.

Late one evening Hunter saw some weird lights in the sky and walked out into the yard to investigate.

Just as he thought he was getting a good view Hunter was bathed in a sterile white light.  There was no wind but he felt his feet lift from the ground.  Hunter was pulled into the night sky.

Hunter had tried for all it was worth to forget his abduction in the Autumn.  He thought it to be a once in a lifetime, freak event.  Little did he know they would be back in Winter to take him again.

Ripley finished off his teen years well.  His family threw him a small birthday party to celebrate.

Ripley grew into his full vampire powers in young adulthood.  He also looked so much like his father Danial, but also reminded Viola of her father.  Ripley was scouted for the professional soccer team at the stadium and signed a contract for five years.

It had been several years since Viola began changing her behavior.  It started when the twins were teens but even after they became adults and started their own families Viola still walked around with a ghost on her tail.  Argus led her to believe that he dropped the subject but he began digging into her past.  Eventually, Argus called her family in the city and discovered her cause of terror was living in town.  The second the phone conversation with William was over Argus went to hunt for Vlad.  Argus sucker punched Vlad in the face and growled a warning that he would remove Vlad's head from his neck if he so much as breathed in Viola's direction.  Before Vlad could say otherwise Argus mentioned the long standing friendship with the Van Goulds, whose patriarch was much older than Vlad.

Knowing very well that he stomped on a hornets nest by challenging Vlad, Argus began preparations for a worse case scenario.  Argus got his hands on an article of Vlad's clothing with Kesler's help.  He taught his pack Vlad's scent.  More importantly, Argus worked one on one with Hunter to be able to track Viola.

Hunter became increasingly good at sniffing out his mother, though Argus never told him the actual truth in regards to the cause.  He lead Hunter to believe the vague reason of her job in law enforcement.  Argus also never told Viola what the pack was up to.

Danial still occasionally haunted the household; frequenting the piano Kesler left behind.

Viola and Argus were both surprised when it was announced that Ripley was valedictorian during the graduation ceremony.  He spent most of his time playing video games they never knew when he did his homework but since the teachers never complained, neither did they.  His classmates voted him "most likely to burn down the house".

Hunter attended the end of the year dance with Rocky and Kimberly.  Kimberly was more interested in some of the upper classmen and ditched Hunter and her brother as fast as she could.  Both boys were bored with the dance and left to TP the principals office.  They didn't get caught.

Upon return home from the dance Hunter felt the all too familiar pull towards the sky.  Aliens were taking him for the third time.

Before Viola knew it her baby was becoming a full grown man.  It was a full house for a party with his older twin siblings and their spouses, Ripley and his girlfriend Shanda, and some of his friends.

As it turned out, Hunter's vampire side became the more dominant and he gained the vampire life-span.  Argus wanted to arrange tests at the hospital to test fertility but Hunter shot that down as kids were the very last thing on his mind.

On snowflake day Viola and Argus held the gift giving party at their house thrilled to have the whole family under one roof.  She had invited her family from Bridgeport but they weren't going to make it due to a blizzard hitting the city.

Hunter opened a gift from Kimberly and nearly dropped the box when he saw what was inside.  He glared at her before he closed the lid while she fought to contain her giggle behind her hands.

Rocky and Kimberly left later that evening and once Hunter was done helping to clean up all the wrapping paper he took off to redeem his Snowflake Day present.  Unfortunately, he didn't take two steps off the porch before the aliens grabbed him (again) and made him miss a perfectly good opportunity for some action.

As winter was in full force Hunter went outside to kick his soccer ball around.  The snowpack added extra resistance which helped him think about what he wanted to do after graduation.

  1. I need Vlad to go away. Clearly whatever hold he thought he had on Viola is no longer there. He needs to let her and her family have some peace.

Aww poor Hunter, the aliens really like him. He aged up nicely :) and what was his gift? You have me curious.

    1. Yes, Vlad just pops up when you least expect it, but Viola is not married to a dumb man and finally put the pieces together and put Vlad in his place (for now).

I am very glad Hunter aged up nicely! I was worried. He wasn't the best looking teen, yeesh.

As for the gift, Kimberly wrapped up a little something special to hint at chance for Hunter to get lucky... it is just too bad the aliens snagged him first, lol.
