Unlike during her labor with Viola, Vivienne pushed through it alone. She didn't want to risk calling one guy to help her only to find the baby belonged to the other guy. It was for the best because in a moment of desperation she thought of calling Beau, and as things turned out the baby belonged to handy man Ned Mason. At least she dodged that drama. Vivienne brought her new baby boy Claude home to meet big sister Viola. Viola babbled happily.
Vivienne continued to party, though not as much. She did enjoy being around her children but she still needed to get out on the town. Unfortunately, the money was running out and she couldn't raise two children in a studio apartment much longer. Vivienne went to an after party where she met music mogul Tom Wordy. they canoodled in dim corners of the dance floor, while sipping drinks and talking about music. In a little quid pro quo, Tom was going to get Vivienne an "in" into the music career and Vivienne was going to take Tom's mind off his demanding fiance' for the rest of the night.
Vivienne celebrated Claude's birthday alone. She had Ned over once to tell him about his son and he all but ran from the apartment, without even fixing what she called him over to fix! She figured it was his loss. It was a short birthday since she had to work. The handlers at the theatre started her out as a fan, even after she dropped Tom's name. Guess she didn't make that great of an impression.
Vivienne gave up trying to get Ned to come over and fix her crappy apartment. He is such a loser. It was easier to figure it out herself. Oddly, she figured out how to fix the sink faster than she figured out to plunge the toilet.
While Vivienne thought Ned was a complete deadbeat loser, she checked the mail one day to find a package sent to Claude from Ned. Ned sent his son some sort of weird clown doll. Claude named it Cuddles.
Claude has Vivienne's eye color and a little bit of her face structure, but other than that he looks a lot like Ned. Claude is a virtuoso and is hydrophobic.
