More seemingly normal years passed by. Her twins were now turning into children. First she had Kesler blow out his candles...
...followed by Kailey.
Viola gave each of her children a big hug before they went off to school.
Kailey wait impatiently for her brother after she boarded the school bus on their first day.
Viola's suspicions about Kesler were practically confirmed after he reached childhood. She didn't know how it was even possible but somehow Kesler looked just like Vlad, though he had too much good in him for her too worry too much.
Viola got herself a membership to the gym. Catching criminals was a lot harder than being a criminal.
Kesler had a bad habit of being late to school because he was so wrapped up in his own imaginary land that Viola often had to send a cab to the house to drive in to school. She considered driving him to school in her pajamas and getting out to give him a hug and kiss good bye in front of everyone. Then maybe he would catch the bus.
The relationship with Chauncey didn't work out in the long run but Viola was glad she started dating again. She wasn't necessarily looking for another guy when she met doctor and werewolf Argus Brown. Viola was surprised that Argus chose to be in his werewolf form most of the time. He was endearing nonetheless.
Viola enjoyed herself when she was with Argus. She was very thankful for living in Moonlight Falls because their relationship would have been frowned upon in Bridgeport.
Though she could have easily hooked up with the good doctor, Viola started taking things slow and allowed the relationship to grow at its own pace.
Kailey was making tons of friends at school and Mara Nix became her best friend. Despite the twins practically being raised in Moonlight Falls the locals still treated them as new to town and Mara remembered how that used to feel so she befriended Kailey.
One night Argus stopped by to take Viola to the park for a surprise. They sat back and watched quietly as the unicorn came into the clearing.
Viola was breathless at the beauty of the creature. She was even able to get close and feed the unicorn an apple.
After such a surprise Viola invited Argus back to her place.
They both received an unintentional surprise when the ghost of Danial came floating down the stairs. Viola was overcome by emotion and Argus excused himself to leave quietly.
Viola was ecstatic that Danial was returning after all these years but she still couldn't find a way to communicate with him. He tried to speak but the sound was only guttural, haunting moans.
By the time morning came they had gotten nowhere and Danial faded into the morning light leaving Viola to pick up pieces of her heart again.
Viola hoped that Danial would visit again but after a couple of weeks she decided to get back to her real life. She started seeing Argus again and during a soak in the hot tub explained about the events between her and Danial and Vlad back in Bridgeport.
As Viola and Argus became more involved Argus began spending time with her children.
Argus was head over heels for Viola. She was more hesitant but deep down she loved him dearly. She just didn't want to run the risk of losing him. Argus promised to protect Viola and her children no matter what she faced.
